cascabel peppers

Cascabel Tomatillo Salsa


1 lb. tomatillos, 
husked and rinsed 
1/4 cup cilantro 
3/4 cup onion, diced 
2 garlic cloves, diced 
2 cascabel chiles, 
rehydrated and diced 


Bring tomatillos to a boil 
for 5 minutes. 
Drain tomatillos, 
reserving one cup liquid. 
Place tomatillos, liquid, 
and remaining 
ingredients in blender. 
Blend for 30 seconds. 
Season with salt to taste.
